What is managed cybersecurity at Vinetu?

Security controls fail most often at the seams: between the firewall and the network design, between the endpoint agent and whoever is meant to read its alerts, between the vendor’s platform and the customer’s IT team. Vinetu’s approach is to design security as part of the infrastructure it builds and operates, and then run it as a managed service.

The service combines four areas, each with its own page: MDR and managed endpoint security on Cynet; SIEM and SOC services with CyRay; network security and firewalls; and security for industrial and operational technology (OT) environments.

Vinetu is clear about who does what. Cynet and CyRay provide the detection platforms. Vinetu, as an MSP partner and reseller, supplies and licenses them, deploys and configures them in the customer environment, provides Tier 1 support, and escalates to the vendor when needed.

• Tier 1 support and incident triage, with escalation to the vendor and coordination with the customer’s IT.
• Secure configuration of the backup environment so recovery survives an attack.

How we deliver it

1. Assess

   Review the current environment: network topology, exposed services, identity model, endpoint coverage, backup design and existing security tools.

2. Design

   Define the target controls and responsibilities: which platform covers what, who receives alerts, what is escalated and to whom.

3. Implement

   Deploy and configure the chosen platforms and firewall policies in stages, without disrupting production.

4. Validate

   Validate coverage: confirm agents report, log sources arrive, policies behave as designed and escalation paths work.

5. Operate

   Operate: Tier 1 support, alert triage, policy and platform maintenance, periodic review of coverage and configuration.

Vinetu delivers the service; the detection technology belongs to the partner. Vinetu’s role is supply and licensing, deployment, configuration, Tier 1 support and escalation. Vendor-side analysis and response services are provided by the vendor where they are part of the subscription.
