A SIEM collects and correlates logs from firewalls, servers, identity systems, endpoints and cloud services; a SOC is the team and process that acts on what the SIEM finds. The value depends almost entirely on integration: which sources are connected, whether their logs are parsed correctly, and whether the integration keeps up as systems are added and replaced. Vinetu delivers this integration work in partnership with CyRay. CyRay provides the SIEM/SOC platform and services. Vinetu, as an MSP partner and reseller, supplies the service, designs which sources to connect, deploys collectors, configures the integrations, keeps them working over time, and is the customer’s Tier 1 point of contact.
